My Top 3 Fave : Coral & Orange Lipsticks

This is the follow up for summer faves. As you all know, summer is officially over & fall season has landed. Orange & coral shade usually speaks of summer season & here are my faves.

From Revlon's super lustrous lipstick line - Siren - an orange creme finish shade. I love wearing this during those hot days. It suits my yellow skin tone & makes it my skin more fair in complexion rather than a yellow one. I love to wear this when I want to have a bold lip during summer time without looking too harsh nor strong look.

The top of the cap is transparent (in actual - not picture) for you to take a peek of the shades of the lipstick.

The next one is also from Revlon, from their colorburst lip butter. Juicy Papaya - a light coral shade. Best to those who wants to wear just a lipbalm but a tinge of color. This one is so moisturizing, perfect when my lips tends to peel. I've been also eyeing for this for a long time eversince Revlon introduced this shade & finally, I have one.

The cap is in the color same as the lipstick shade & (not picture) the top lid is transparent as well.

See how much I love this lip butter by the looks of lipstick hahaha.

And lastly, from Loreal's star collection - Barely Coral - a light coral-ly shade. I love this too! It's also moisturizing & smooth upon applying on my lips. It doesn't dry my lips & doesn't emphasize the lines. In the tube it looks matte but when it applied, a satin finish.

The shade in the tube & the swatch color on the package looks the same shade which is good because it helps you identify your lipstick immediately.

Here are the swatches side by side. Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Siren (left), Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Juicy Papaya (middle) & Loreal Star Collection in Barely Coral (right)

What about you guys, what are your favorite orange & coral shade lipsticks?

Another Top 5 Summer Lipsticks

In my previous blog post on My Top 3 Fave : Summer Lipsticks, I've told you that I do have a lot of lipsticks in my treasure trove that are perfect for summer season & that I had a hard time choosing my tops so, here are the rest of the choices that also I love to wear during summer days.

The first one came from one of the drugstore brand that I love & really never ceases to amaze me whenever they are introducing new range. This is also one of the product that I've been eyeing since they released this range.

Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Juicy Papaya - a lip balm with a tinge of peachy orange shade. This is so moisturizing that I don't to apply lip balm & the shade is so perfect on my lips. It's like MLBB summer lipstick.

See the tube? That's what's left of the lipstick - you can really tell by the looks of it.

The next one is also from Revlon in their Super Lustrous Range - Siren, a bright red orange shade that gives a little oomph on my lips. I use this when I want to wear a much bolder summer look. This is so creamy when applied & glides smoothly on my lips & has a creme finish.

This looks shocking on the lipstick tube but when you applied it, oh, it compliments my warm undertone. I think this shade is perfect for every skin tone.

Next is MAC's Flamingo, a light cream peach, from MAC All About Orange Collection though this have been re-promoted a couple of time especially during summer. A light peachy shade when applied on my lips & an opaque finish.

Another one is from Loreal Barely Coral, more of a corally shade on my lips with a tinge of matte finish though it's not dry on my lips.

The next one came from MAC's Wash n' Dry Collection - Tumble Dry which MAC describes as light peachy coral. It's more of a fleshy tone shade to me when applied in my lips, I do have a love-hate relationship with this because sometimes I looked pale & dead when I applied this but sometimes it looks so natural on me during summer hence, you can see the tube :)

Here are the swatches from left to right : Revlon Juicy Papaya, Revlon Siren, MAC Flamingo, Loreal Barely Coral & MAC Tumble Dry.

What about you? Do you have other summer lipsticks? I would love to read them on the comments below.

Thanks for stopping by!

My Top 3 Fave : Summer Scents

On my last post on my blog, I showed you my fave summer lipsticks but a teaser here, I am not yet finish with my summer lipsticks. Do watch out for that post soon.

For now, let's talk of my summer scents. Scents which reminds me so much of summer season. You already have an idea by the looks on this picture. So, without further ado, let's get started.

The first one is from Regatta named Leisure that I bought from Zalora Ph. I've learned of this in a sample given to me by Salad Box. From the looks of this square like glass shape, you'll see the ocean, seashore! It has this very ocean citrus-scent. A mild one & so feminine that I became in love with it.
It makes you want to relax & just close your eyes, smell the ocean breeze, hear the waves & feel the warm wind coming. Leisure - a perfect name for this perfume.

Net Weight : 50 ml / 1.69 Fl. oz.

Next is from Avon, Far Away Bella Sunset, from their Bella range, this is their summer version. Comes in a lilac colored bottled with a cute ribbon on it. This perfume smells like a light woody musk with sunset rose. Whenever I wore this perfume, I imagine I am in warm sunny forest surrounded by summer flowers.

Net Weight : 50 ml

Lastly, Escada Taj Sunset which was released in summer 2011 which sad to say it's a limited edition. Of all the summer scents that Escada released, this is the one I love the most. The scents is so light & mild. Consists of fruity summer fragrance, if you smell closely there's musk & a tinge of coconut - oh I love the smell of coconut! A sweet tropical fruit scent that reminds me island beach. I hope Escada would release this every summer because I can't imagine myself without this.

I usually wore this sparingly because I don't have a backup of this :( I nearly empty this bottle because this is my go-to summer scent!

Net Weight : 100 ml / 3.3 Fl. oz.

You can still buy this online but do be aware of unreasonable high price since this is a limited edition release though.

So, what are your summer scents?

Thanks for stopping by!

My Top 3 Fave : Summer Lipsticks

It's been raining during these past few days & by the sounds of that summer days are over. But before the official summer season is over I would like to show you my Top 3 Fave summer lipsticks that I've been using during summer seasons. I do have a lot of summer lipsticks on my treasure trove but I have to admit I did have a hard time choosing my tops because during summer I don't stick to one shade but quite a few hehee.

Okay, let's start off for my first fave, MAC Cut a Caper (a mid-tone peach pink), this is a limited edition one that was introduced in "Heavenly Creatures Collection" but this was also introduced in their previous collection.

I've been using this lipstick lately & seeing what's left is saying something hahaha. When applied on my lips it's more of a peachy tone than a peachy pink though in the tube it's more of a pink.

The next fave summer lipstick is "Watch me Simmer" (bright pink-orange) though in different angle it changes shade sometimes more of a pink sometimes more of an orange but on this picture it leans more of a pink with orange undertone. This is from the MAC Cook MAC, Shop MAC collection by the way.

When applied on my lips, it tends to be more of a nude-y pink but sometimes there's a tinge of orange to it.

Lastly, MAC Razzle-Dazzler (light cream peach). This is from the MAC All About Orange Collection but had been introduced in their previous collection as well. From the looks of my lipstick you can surely tell that I've been loving this during summer too! When applied on my lips, more peachy tone were seen & glides so smoothly on my lips.

Swatches from left to right : Cut A Caper, Watch Me Simmer & Razzle-dazzler.

Thanks for dropping by!

A Secret to My Summer Glow!

There are times when we experience having a dull face or sometimes feeling unwell. When it seems you look so pale and haggard looking (aaaahhh!-not good). This is one of my secret in looking so refresh and as if I had a wonderful beauty rest. The secret is applying a bronzer and one that I've been using is Urban Decay Baked Bronzer in Gilded.

Urban Decay released their baked bronzer a few years ago and sadly, this was discontinued. I'm glad I was able to get my hands this. I first saw this bronzer was used by one of the Pixiwoo sisters - Sam. I love how the end looks after she applied it.

At first, I thought bronzers are only for contouring but I was wrong. As more bronzers added to my stash, I got different shades, undertone and finish that got me thinking that some of them are not good for contouring because they have a slight shimmer on it while some are matte.

Packaging : The product comes in a compact in a bronze gold color. The lid had a gold colored oriental design and the Urban Decay's logo, the word baked printed in a script font while the word bronzer in all capital letters - all of the 3 are in blue colored print.

Net Weight : 7.5 g / 0.26 US oz.

Shade : Comes in 3 shades : Toasted which has a matte finish, Baked which has a pinkish gold shimmer - semi-shimmer finish and Gilded which I have, has a brownish shade with golden shimmer - a shimmer - satiny finish.

See how lovely the design on the lid? I just love it!

This is a few golden veins on it which reminds me so much of MAC Mineralize Skinfinish. Although, other bronzers like this I've seen from other bloggers' pictures have different veinings so it has a different finish to it when swatched.

The texture is smooth and buttery but since I have most of the gold shimmer veins the finish has more shimmery.

It has a golden undertone and a more brown shade and less orangey which I prefer because of my yellow skin tone. I applied this as an all over bronzer (on the tops of my cheekbones, on my forehead,  on my nose and chin) and sometimes I applied it on my cheeks then a blush of the day on top and it gives an amazing glow and finish! This can be worn wet or dry.

Do you have one of the Urban Decay baked bronzer? If so, what shade?

Thanks for stopping by!
